Seafoods Group 3 mainly handles herring and kazunoko (salted herring roe). Every spring, our group members personally go to Alaska to purchase the herring that return to the waters around Alaska.
When we import herring directly into Japan, we provide detailed data and information sent from the country of origin to our customers. Once the containers arrive in Japan, our team is prepared with a reliable system to get the products ready for sale smoothly. When we ship herring to our partner factories in China to produce kazunoko (salted herring roe), we have a system in place to ensure stable production under all circumstances. The products are imported to Japan from China, and sold under our own private brand all over Japan.
By conducting the entire process of purchase, manufacture, and sales in-house, including import/export procedures, we are able to thoroughly control quality and manufacturing. Also, we can provide a stable supply of products for the Japanese market. This is our strength. Taking advantage of our long experience and accumulated expertise related to our own purchases, we will challenge ourselves to leap even further.
